FINALLY ACCEPTED APPLE PAY!!

HEB Grocery Store is the go-to spot for our family’s fresh and affordable groceries. While I wouldn’t call them “inexpensive,” the quality and variety we get for the price is worth every penny. The store is always spotless, and I really appreciate the way they organize everything—makes shopping easy and efficient. Plus, they’re always fully stocked, which is a huge relief when ensuring we have everything we need.

One of the biggest wins recently? HEB is finally accepting Apple Pay! For someone like me, who occasionally forgets their wallet, this is a game-changer. No more rushing back home for a card—just pay with a tap and you’re good to go. It’s one more reason to support HEB, especially as a proudly Texas-owned business.

I also love their partnerships with local vendors, giving customers a chance to support local within one shopping trip. My personal favorites? The fresh crab legs, often at great prices, and their unique food options like salmon burgers and ready-to-eat meals. Perfect for days when I want something quick, healthy, and delicious for the family without the hassle of cooking from scratch.

Had to order 5+ party trays for a funeral service, and the people at HEB made the process completely enjoyable. I wish I got her name, but the lady that assisted me at the time of pick up was so kind and helpful. She escorted me to the front, scanned the trays, and was so friendly. I love this store and the people in it!

Shout out to the deli-team, they really made me feel valued as a customer 🙂

Some registers had some unhappy faces at services, and did not say hi or hello or smile, especially at self-checkout. I had only 3 items, they were big as well, easy to see. The checker walked around me a couple times to make sure they were scanned and nothing else in the shopping cart. I only had 3 items, that's why i went to self checkout. Next time I go to the line, there will be cashiers if I am still happy to go to that store. I know that's her job to watch customers but please be gentle and smile.

It’s great for grocery shopping. It’s very big and spacious. The fish section is so clean and the gentlemen’s working there are very helpful. The cake section is awesome too they have so many good designs and flavors. Love the cosmetics section too. And the kids designed shopping cart is so much fun for the kids. But be careful with the kids section and always check the expiry date. because I found many items expired 2 years ago and still there.

One of my favorite HEB's to go to. Always clean inside, easy to get assistance from workers, always have shelves stocked properly, and they always have great prices. Never had a problem using the online pickup either. 10/10 continuing to shop here anytime I need to.

Unacceptable for 3 different people to let me know they found hair in the cupcake icing I picked up yesterday for my daughter birthday. Do they not use hairnets when preparing cakes in the bakery? I have ordered cupcakes from HEB before with no problems , but this was unacceptable and nasty.

The workers here aren't very friendly. They seem to be in their own world, especially mangement. I just love coming here because of the great brand and different selections they carry. Smiling, eye contact, or even having a conversation in person can actually change someone's life. Blessings.
